From Pat's Family & Tack Shop Family...
We thank you for all of your support.
Pat was special to all & will be missed. |
Patricia Ann (Dalgleish)
Seeley of Valley City passed away February 22. Waiting to greet her
were her parents Adrian and Bernice and husband Ron. Missing her are
daughters Vicki (Larry) McDougall, Jodi (Bob) Rohrer, and Jill Erb,
grandchildren Tiffany (Jeff) Maat, Emily and Tyler Erb, Bob (Jamie)
Rohrer, and Tom (Alisha) Rohrer, great grands Jake and Caroline
Patricia Maat, and Rex Rohrer, her brother Ken (Annie) Dalgleish.
Special people in her life were her “Valley Girls”.
Pat was a great and generous friend to many. She was an active
member of Valley City’s Emmanuel United Church of Christ (EUCC) and
sang in the choir, the Liverpool Historical Society, and Chamber of
Commerce. She spent her life as a horse show mom and was tireless in
her participation and leadership roles in community service. Pat and
Ron were proud to have started the Valley Tack Shop 49 years ago and
Pat could still be seen in the store until her passing.
As per her wishes her body has been donated to Case Western Reserve
University for research. Friends and family will be received from 2
– 4 pm on Sunday March 4 at the EUCC, 6656 Center Road, Valley City,
with a memorial service to follow.
In lieu of flowers please express your condolences to the Ron and
Pat Seeley Memorial Scholarship fund – to assist local students
perusing degrees in equine studies or agricultural business @ Box
291 Valley City, OH 44280, or the
EUCC Endowment Fund. We thank you
for honoring this request.
The family would like to thank her friend and caregiver Debbie
for making her final weeks safe and comfortable.
Next time you raise a glass or do a dance – remember Mom. Cancer can
do many things but it can never take the memories of our wonderful
mother, grandmother, business woman, and friend. Here’s to Nan… |
